5.0 out of 5 stars Great detailer or matt splitter. Cuts right through.

I used it to detangle or completely remove the tangles or matt's in my dogs fur.

3.0 out of 5 stars My cat hates this

So I have a long haired cat who doesn’t like to be groomed. She will not let me use this on her. It’s hard to hold her down and use the tool at the same time because there isn’t much to hold on to. On a calmer cat it might work ok, but for mine it’s a no-go.

3.0 out of 5 stars No blades

Environmentally speaking, the responsible thing would be to provide replacement blades so we don’t have to throw away the metal, reuse-able handle. Instead people are trying to use regular razors which is very dangerous to the person and the animal. The splitter works great - until it doesn’t, which is when the blade dulls. That happens pretty quickly since it’s just a thin blade. Come on manufacturers and sellers, let’s start being a little more conscious of what’s around us
