The main thing that is important to me is that the product works. I have been using Adams flea and tick on all of my dogs for years. It stops flea infestations before they start. Ticks can still land on my dogs but, they die and fall off. To my mind, the only good tick is a dead tick. Mosquitoes are definitely repelled by this stuff, too. These external parasites, in addition to making life uncomfortable for you and your dog, also carry life-threatening diseases. I have tried all of the "natural" (and chemical) remedies against fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. If I had found a less toxic product that actually worked, I would be using it, as I don't like to put bug killer on my dogs. But, I have not found anything that comes anywhere near to the effectiveness of Adams. So, for me, the choice is to live with fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, and the potential for the diseases they carry, or use Adams. It's a choice and a decision. I cannot tell anyone what to do with their own dogs in this regard. Oh! And, it is WAY too expensive, in my opinion! One big bottle sprayed on a medium-sized dog once per month lasts about 6-8 months.
