thank god I don't have to keep refilling the dog water dish every 5 minuits any more. this holds 1.5 gallons, which lasts a while with a beagle, though he does drink alot. well made and easy to clean - comes apart so theres plenty of room to get your hand inside with a sponge. washes up nice and it's back to it's job. doesn't burp or gurgle and scare the dog either. flows evenly to refill the tray. love it.

One of my cats kept moving around their old gravity dish, so I got this shorter one to help stop the mess. Worked like a charm!!! The pressure hole for the water to come out is a little weird at first, I keep expecting to wake up with a puddle of water but it works just fine! Great water dish, especially for the price.

Wow this is only 1.5 gallons? I bought this item in June 2011 and I am just now replacing it!!! It has been awesome!!!
The only reason it needs replacing is because someone kicked it and put one of those weird creases in the plastic. Now it's not airtight. Nothing to do with the product itself. Again I bought this in 2011 and it's still pretty darn clean and worked liked a charm. I'm considering a larger one but I thought I had a larger one than 1.5 gallons. Great product and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!!

This is the second Bergan I've purchased. The first one served almost 4 years, but just got dirty, so decided to replace. We have a 60 lb dog and the 1.5gallon size is perfect because the water gets dirty and you have to replace it before she drinks the full tank anyway.
Easy to clean and fill. Highly recommended.

This is the 3rd waterer I have tried with my 3 cats. This is the 1st one they have not tipped over when it's close to empty. It's also been the easiest of the 3 to refill and put back in place. It is also very very easy to clean. This seems to be the perfect size for the 3 of them also since it just barely starts getting grimy/dirty when it is getting close to empty. I'm really pleased with this one.
