My cat is very picky when it comes to cat toys. I have bought feather toys, worm toys, remote controlled mouse toys, laser pointers and my cat just will not play long term with them.

However, after purchasing the cat dancer my cat went absolutely nuts for it and will not stop begging to play with it. Do not be fooled by the price or somewhat generic packaging that this comes in. This cat toy works!

The durability is not as strong as other cat toys so you may need to invest in a few of them, depending on how strong your cat is. But as a owner of a very picky cat this toy works wonders and is worth every penny!

This is the cats favorite toy. She drags it up and down the steps and all thru the house.

My cat’s absolute favorite toy

Let me start of by saying my cat absolutely loved this toy. Completely obsessed for several weeks. The next part is a freak accident but a real risk people should be aware of. My cat was constantly carrying this toy around the house to bring it to me and he is a very small cat so it was not a simple task. The other night I am laying in bed and I see him come up the side of the bed holding it from the middle in his mouth. He swung it around so he could get up on the bed with it and one end of it made contact with a power outlet. Lights dim, sparks fly, the toy snaps, scorch marks on the outlet and my poor baby got a hellova shock. It never entered my mind that I needed to baby proof my power outlets for a cat, but needless to say my boy won't be getting any metal toys again anytime soon. Just beware if your cat starts carrying it around the house on its own or you have young kids at home.

My cat tends to be a little spoiled. She gets toy subscription boxes because she got bored SO quickly with the store bought toys she got. An article recommended this and I thought, well for the price we might as well try it. Talk about a game changer.

It's got a small metal wire tipped on one end with a single stiff cardboard tube and on the other end with 3-4 of them. It bounces easily just by simple hand movements. And my cat absolutely loves it. It wraps up neatly in a bedside table when not in use but my cat knows.. that drawer opens and she's there immediately. She plays with it so furiously it actually gets her breathing a little heavy so definitely great for exercise for an indoor cat.

On subscribe and save its infinitely more cheap than a typical toy subscription box. And it seems 10x more fun for my cat.
