Aqueon Fish Tank Hinged Glass Top 20.8" x 1.3" x 4.1"

This worked perfectly on my 10 gallon tank. The cutouts took a little time and a small amount of sanding to make it look smooth, though I don’t think that anyone would notice but me. It looks so much better than the old hood with the fluorescent light, and since I cut the areas for the filter, air pump, and heater with little excess opening, the water doesn’t evaporate, and there’s no more algae on the lid.

I'm really pleased with this topper, it fit my generic 10-gal hand-me-down tank perfectly. My tank is retaining heat so much better now, as opposed to the loose-fitting slab of acrylic I was using. The hinged glass makes it far easier to feed or do a water change/cleaning without having the take the whole top completely off. I love that the plastic section isn't already attached because I need that 2-inch space in the back for tubes, heater line, and plants (I'll keep it just in case). I agree with other reviews; the plastic is very sturdy & you'll probably need a heated knife or implement to effectively cut through it.

Just a touch of mineral oil and the plastic flap on the back slid on easily. Husband cut the plastic with a dremel to fit the pump. I really like the glass top as the tank is brighter even without the light. More natural.

Just what I needed. Fits perfect on my Aqueon 10 gallon, handle was fine. I cut the back plastic piece with some tin snips.

Works great for my ten gallon and arrived in perfect shape.
