The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will feature a partnership between New York Road Runners and New York Therapy Animals to bring therapy dogs to greet runners at the starting line in Staten Island. This initiative, aimed at calming pre-race nerves, is a continuation of a successful nine-year tradition. The therapy dogs, trained to interact comfortably with large groups, will be handled by volunteer teams who ensure a supportive environment for runners before they embark on the 26.2-mile race on November 2, 2025.
