- Admission: $10.00 (15 and under free with adult)
What Makes This Event Special?
This isn't just any dog race - it's a celebration of our beloved dachshunds (and dachshund mixes) in the heart of Michigan's Little Bavaria! The event combines the excitement of competition with the charm of Oktoberfest festivities.
Registration Details:
- Registration Opens: May 1st, 2025
- Limited Spots: Only the first 100 dogs will be accepted
- Perks: Each contestant receives 2 free Oktoberfest admission tickets
Competition Categories & Prizes:
Parade of the Wieners:
- 🏆 Best Dressed Wiener - Trophy
- 🏆 Smallest Wiener - Trophy
- 🏆 Fattest Wiener - Trophy
- 👑 King and Queen of the Wieners (traditional German attire)
Racing Competition:
- 12 heats of 12 dogs each
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for each heat
- Grand Prize (1st Place Overall): Overnight stay at Splash Village + $50
- 🎀 Every participant receives a ribbon!
