Dog owners and lovers alike, 8/26 is National Dog Day!
National Dog Day was founded in 2004 by animal welfare advocate, Colleen Paige to celebrate all dogs.
No matter the breed, size, or tone of their bark - dogs have brought joy to our lives in unexpected and sometimes peculiar ways.
Dogs are always there to greet us when we come home after a long and busy day at work. They protect us when we're threatened, and comfort us when we're alone.
Dogs have become a part of our family that they have a special place in our hearts and minds.
Today, make them feel loved and special. Give them treats they'll love to eat and toys they'll enjoy to play with. Go on a walk and explore the many things you'll find along the way. More importantly, appreciate the precious times you both shared together and the many fun and wonderful days ahead.
