Bitsy, a cat with six legs due to a rare condition of absorbing a twin in utero, was rescued by Furget Me Not Animal Rescue after being found in pain. Following an evaluation, veterinarians determined that three of her legs were non-functional and proceeded with an amputation to alleviate her discomfort. After surgery, Bitsy showed remarkable recovery and is now thriving with three legs, living with her foster caregiver, who plans to adopt her permanently.
