I got this brush cause our resident poof, Lulu, had a mat. I use a typical slicker type brush on her but its kinda big to fit between her front legs, and this rather large mat that seemed to appear over night was on the underside of her neck. Within 5 mins of unpackaging this brush I had the mat out. Definitely a keeper. It was a large mat too, I have no idea how it got there, I brush her a couple times a week. I was worried I was going to have to go to the vet and have them clip this one out. Really like the size of this brush. Lulu is a small cat, just 10.5 lbs, shes all fluff really, so this brush is a perfect size. We ordered the small purple one.

Very useful for mats and tangles! After using the small one, I bought the large brush too :)

Does not invade her coat but does the job

My husband uses this to brush our double maned lionhead rabbits hair and tangles out. So far, this brush has worked great for doing that.

I like to use this type of brush on my Pomeranians with a touch of a coat spray before their bath it takes out a lot of the undercoat that is dead coat. Makes bathing and finishing pretty nice.
