We have a bloodhound (short hair) this brush is good quality and I would have loved it for my Australian Sheppherd but just doesnt do much for the hound. We have kept it thinking it might work better with her winter coat, will end up passing to a family member with a german Sheppherd as it works great for him. It does work well to get dander out which is nice.
