Instructions:
Use one of the following three freezing methods:
- With the removable cooling packs in place, submerge the entire harness into cold water. Wring out excess water and place the harness in a freezer-ready plastic bag. Place the harness and the bag in the freezer for an hour. Remove the harness from the freezer and let it thaw up to 15 minutes, then fasten it around the dog.
- Or, with the removable cooling packs in place, freeze the harness dry, in a freezer-ready plastic bag, without submerging it in water.
- Or, freeze just the gel inserts, and then place them into the harness.
Make sure the adjustable chest panel is fastened snugly against the dog's harness. Harness remains cool for up to six hours. Remove harness from dog when it no longer is cool. Repeat steps as necessary.
Sizing Guide
Back: Measure length of pet’s back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. See below for estimating by breed.
Neck: Measure the circumference of pet’s neck for a snug fit. No need to add inches as you would with a collar.
Chest/Girth: Measure girth around the broadest part of the chest and add 2”.
Note: If the dog has a stout build, select one size larger.
