Aqueon QuietFlow E Internal Power Filters Extra Small Black 2.75" x 2.75" x 6.81"

This is a quality product, but just too big and aggressive for the smaller tank (1½-2 gal). I went back to the xs Tetra filter that came with my 3 gallon Walmart tank. I kept this for an emergency back up, or for the time I might go to a larger tank.

I have a small 2.5 gallon office betta tank. The filter it came with was much too strong for the poor betta, and after doing some research someone had recommended this on the review of the tank. It has kept the tank so clean, has been so quiet, and has little to no strong current that whips my betta around! He likes to build his bubble nest right on the side of it!

I have been using this Aqueon filter for a couple of years and it is a favorite. Perfect for Betta fish and my shrimp tanks. It has a nice gentle flow. I use and rotate various filter media in this easy use filter for a single tank or use it in addition to my larger tanks for a second type of media . None of mine have ever been noisy? Currently I have 3 or 4 of them running. Quality and still going strong. I spent lots of money before finding this one for my Betta fish. Note: I always run air stones in my tanks too. Moving water is always healthier water for all fish. guarantees all their purchases ~ Can't go wrong with this one.

Got this filter for my 5 gal betta tank after I realized the current/flow from the filter provided with my tank was too much for my betta. I got the 3 gallon size and couldn’t be happier! My betta is more active than ever before. Before he was hiding almost always because the filter would pull him in and make it hard for him to comfortably swim around.
It is small, easy to install, and almost completely silent. They provide you with hooks and suction cups to install in your tank. The hooks will hook to the top of the tank, but do not lay even with the top. So if you use a lid, the hooks will stop it from closing all the way and laying flat. I don’t personally mind it, but with the suction cups they supply you with it is an easy fix.
Good product, cheap, efficient, and exceeded my expectations! My betta is very happy!
