Adams Flea & Tick Home Spray

The spray bottle could be updated because you can't get the bottom portion of the liquid out, but I'm doubling down and buying a 2nd bottle to get these tiny little insects that you can't even see because they are such good hiders.

Due to our flea problem, I treated each floor of the house a day apart because the scent is overpowering and it requires you to leave the area after applying for an hour. Open windows, turn everything off and let it settle. I could still smell the spray the next day in the basement even though I left windows open for hours. If you inhale too much or are sensitive to this, it will feel like your nose and throat are on fire for several hours but no lasting effects. Worked really well for all insects, including fleas

This spray is excellent. Love that it is scent free. However if you are using it by itself, you will be disappointed. I highly recommend also using the Adams carpet flea powder. I brushed a full can of the powder per room into the carpets and let sit as long as possible before lightly vacuuming. I initially washed everything I could and bagged stuff I didn’t need out into garbage bags to suffocate any remaining flea larvae/prevent reinfestation. I used this spray regularly on soft surfaces that I needed to leave out but couldn’t use the powder on, like curtains/bedspread etc. With vacuuming/mopping/spraying regularly, doing the carpet powder a second time, giving the pets Capaction/Capstar pills, a dawn dish soap bath, and a topical flea treatment once they were dry; I’m happy to say the fleas are GONE. We had a pretty bad infestation too.

The Adams brand really does work, you just can’t expect to spray it around a little and magic to happen if you have a true infestation. You have to deep clean several times and use a couple different products on both the animals and home to make sure you have got them all. Still cheaper than an exterminator for me since I live in an apartment.

I never leave reviews but I have to write one because if it helps others that were in our situation it’ll be well worth it. My wife and I paid a brand name company almost $300 to come spray our house for fleas and they came twice and I’m convinced they were spraying water. We had fleas jumping on our legs and my wife was slowly losing her sanity. I bought Adams after reading someone else’s positive review.

This stuff worked almost immediately. I sprayed two bottles on the upstairs and downstairs of our house. We have hardwood floors so they were hiding in all the cracks and we are flea free and living the good life. Our sanity is restored and after feeling like I may never feel comfortable in my own home again, it seems like a distant memory. GET THIS STUFF!!! I bought another 3 bottles just for the hell of it and will probably spray again just to be sure but this stuff is an absolute miracle.

I am using this product in addition to the fogger which we used over a month ago. I am still combing a few fleas off of each of my house cats daily, even though they were treated with advantage. I use this to spot treat my entry areas, the cats sleeping areas, and my furniture. I also spray it into the vacuum after I do a pass of all my rugs to be sure there are no live fleas in the bag. This has been a bad summer for fleas here on the coast.
