Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges 6 pack Medium 4.9" x 2" x 5.7"

For keeping the water clear, these work fine. I have a 2 beta divided tank. One of these filters lasts about a month & gets pretty gunky by then. The best way to keep up is to remove & replace half of the water every week or 2. I also add a pinch of aquarium salt and have a small plant on each side. In a perfect world, an under gravel filter would be great. But I could see the difference in water clarity with the half tank change plus a new filter.

These filters are getting harder to find. Only certain pet stores carry them, and recently, even the local Pet Smart stopped carrying them. I did find them at a Pet Co, but the price here on was so much better.
My fish let me know when the filters need changed! I have one that’s pretty sensitive to pollutants in the water. These are the only filters that I have found that will fit the Aqueon filtration system that’s on our tank.
I do wish there was some way to clean and reuse the filters a bit though, it seems like a lot of waste sometimes. But the filters work very well and my fish are happy. :)

These are manufacturer's replacement cartridges for the Aqueon QuietFlow LED Pro Power Filter (size 10). According to the box, the cartridges also work for QuietFlow Power Filter (size 10) and QuietFlow E Internal Power Filter (size 20). There are 12 cartridges in the box. How long they last probably depends on how heavily populated your tank is and water quality. My 10-gallon tank is lightly populated (1 beta and 6 corys) and quite clean, and based on the life of the first cartridge, I think each cartridge will do its job for about 3 weeks. The cartridges are clearly labeled "Front" to help with correct insertion and are very easy to replace.

I like the filters but they only seem to screen the dirt on one small area so most of the size of the filter is useless. Also, they only come with one blue plastic support frame so you have to keep reusing it for all the
filters in the box. Overall it works but I would like the filter to use the whole surface to catch debris instead of one small area. What I do to overcome this is to rinse/clean it and reuse it.

This is the only site I can find these filters on. They fit the Aqueon filters I bought here. I tried running the system without the filter cartridge and it was a disaster. I have Gold Fish and they are very dirty fish. The algae built up and I had such a mess to clean up. With the replaceable cartridge, I just toss the dirty cartridge and put new ones in.
They do get a bit expensive but it is what it is.
The bigger these fish get the dirtier the water so it's a lot to keep up with.
