Barrier works well!

This is my second barrier. It was easy to install in our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan between the front seats. It works well keeping three Labradors contained while not interfering with visibility. It is designed much better than the tall, flimsy screen type barriers. The only complaint, which is my fault, is that when I leaned over it, something tore within the upper support causing it to droop and I was unable to repair it, hence the purchase of the second.

Installed easily on our 2020 Chevy Bolt

I searched pet barriers for quite a while, trying to find ones that installed on a Chevrolet Bolt. I then found a review of this barrier that said it worked fine in the Bolt, so I tried it. I'm delighted with how easy it was to install: it took less than 5 minutes and required no tools. It's not an absolute barrier to our 50 pound Portuguese Water Dog, but I expect it will help me teach her to stay in the back seat and away from the Bolt's shift lever.

Works for us!

I purchased this, and then I read the reviews so I was a bit worried this wouldn't work. Just to clear up some of the poor reviews:

- There ARE printed instructions included with the divider. I don't know if the folks complaining about "no instructions" ever contacted the manufacturer to get some.

- This is an inexpensive seat divider. It wasn't as "cheap" as I thought it would be based on reviews.

- If you have a heavy chewer, larger, athletic, or energetic dog, I would advise a kennel in your vehicle (I train dogs). This won't work.

We bought this divider for when we get out of our truck to pump fuel, etc. to keep our 48 lbs dog in the back seat versus her toenails up on our console. It works for that. Using it as a tried-and-true barrier wouldn't work. I would suggest a kennel or bar barrier for that.

We like the product as it works as intended.

Exactly what we needed

Functioned perfectly to keep our handsome 95 lb German Shepherd in the back seat. We had just bought a new full size Ram truck, and as much as we love our dog, we didn't want to get scratches all over it. Not sure if it would really keep him in back if he really wanted to come into the front, btw. No problem with the fit at all. The netting along the bottom allows the backseat a/c air to flow, which is a good design.

Update: I still really like the product, however, I discovered that our dog can simple step over the barrier IF HE REALLY WANTS TO. Conclusion: he was only being polite in not coming into the front seats previously; he is smart enough to recognize that we wanted him to sit on his own air-conditioned seat in the back on his own blanket. Good luck all, with your own dog!

Doesn't block vents

I recently bought a new car and didn't want my dog coming to the front seats. I also have back air vents and didn't want anything that would block the air for him. This product worked perfectly for what I needed. He can still see us and keep cool but can't come up to the front. It's very easy to attach and remove if needed. The stitching seems very thorough and won't be coming undone any time soon. Please vote if you found this answer helpful. Thanks!
