Meet Thumper Meet Thumper! Thumper came to CCHS earlier this March from a local farm where there were too many dogs. This sweet Australian Cattle Dog (or Red Heeler) mix is about 10 weeks old and weighs 18.1# currently. Thumper is very pretty with her short-haired red and white coat. She has a little short stub tail and perky ears, too. She is a smart girl, ready to learn lots of new things with her new family. She's now been vaccinated, spayed, dewormed and microchipped, so she's ready to go to her new home any time. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Thumper today! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
